Driving home from work last week, I passed a stalled car, stuck in the middle of one of the two turning lanes at a busy intersection, during rush hour.

Battle of the Perks

Lately, I have been reminded daily of the fact that we are in a rental house. I never really thought about it when we lived in Lubbock, but I loved that house, and the fact that we had no homeowner responsibilities was icing on the cake.

Running Rad

Lately, I've consistently been getting out for a run 3 or 4 times a week (yay me!), unfortunately, I have not been walking back into my house with positive results. My stamina has been less than impressive, and frustratingly not improving with time and practice like it should. 

Out on the Town

We've been so lucky to have guests in town these past three weekends, and because of that, we've gone on lots of super fun outings exploring our new stomping grounds. There is still plenty of activity spots to be discovered, but here's a few pictures from the places we've already crossed off our list.
