Wedding status

• After going to 3 stores, I finally found a solid DARK gray button down shirt for the guys. I was sure it was perfect, and the fact that it was on sale for $15 (!!!) was icing on the cake. I called Tyler, but apparently he doesn't keep up with his neck size & arm length (we're not that fancy, I shop in the S, M, L type stores :) ) so I just grabbed a shirt for color comparison. I also found a tie that I like, but don't love, so I'll keep my eyes peeled for more options. When Tyler got home that evening I had him try it all on to see what he thought. The shirt fit in the neck (so now we know what size he is for that) but extremely baggy everywhere else. He seemed to think it had a little bit of a blue tint to it so we'll have to see how the entire outfit looks, but I can't really do any of that without Tyler so that'll be a weekend errand. If we have zero luck at other stores then it's close enough! 
• Still no luck on Kingsley's outfit. I kinda sorta know what I want, but it's proving difficult to find. And since Miss Priss is such a shoe diva and simply refuses to wear certain ones that aren't up to par, Kellie is going to take her shopping sometime to make sure she doesn't end up going barefoot down the aisle - although that would be pretty stinkin' adorable!
• My poor bridesmaids are having a helluva time getting their dresses ordered, or even trying them on! The girls that live in towns where stores actually carry the line either won't let them try on dresses without an appointment or don't have the specific dresses I have picked out.  The others are having to plan trips to other towns to try them on. :( Sorry ladies, I never meant for it to be such a hassle!!
• Save the Dates are in! I got them in the mail yesterday and absolutely love them, Lee Ann couldn't have made them any more perfect! I just need to print labels and get them out!
• I think we almost have our Honeymoon booked! We've gone back and forth on destinations and resorts but I think we'll be locking it in this weekend so that I can FINALLY check that box! 
• I know I said I finished our registry a couple weeks ago but I decided the other day that I wanted to change the color scheme of the master bathroom, so I had to spend some time the other day replacing some things to make that happen. I feel much better about it now, and I'm sure Tyler still doesn't have an opinion…as per usual.
• Tyler, Tommy & I went into Ft Worth this past Sunday to have dinner at Joe T Garcia's and to see if we wanted to hold the rehearsal dinner there. Although it was a fun, authentic atmosphere, it was HUGE and so crowded that when we arrived at 5 pm we still stood in line to be seated for over 30 minutes. Also, that would mean having tex-mex food two nights in a row, and even though us Southerners wouldn't think twice about that…I'm not sure the family coming from a bit farther north might not appreciate it as much :) Tyler's parents are going to join us for the next trial run this Saturday at a restaurant in Mansfield, Steven's Garden & Grill. Better luck this time!

There is still SO much to be done, but I feel like so much of it has already come together and definitely helps to make the rest of it follow suit. The work won't be done until July 12! :)
