Weekend Recap #2

Another week & weekend full of wedding productivity! I finally feel like everything's under control and will be ready, and what's furthest away from that is what I'm leaning on friends and family for help, so I know it will all work out! :)

Tyler started working out this week, because he's ridiculous and only requires a few weeks of exercise to reach his goals. I got home close to sundown every night this week, meaning no running, so I did P90x Abs with Tyler a time or two and otherwise relied on healthy eating to stay in the game. My new favorite thing is adding Fuji apples and cucumber slices to my salads, although they make it pretty crunchy and loud to eat at my desk. :/

Hopefully this week I won't be constantly running errands so that I can fit in some real work outs.

Saturday we worked more on gifts, so nothing about that at this time. Then, around 3pm, we put them away and started getting cleaned up for our friend's wedding. It was outside on a lake so it was a tad warm and humid, but had a gorgeous backdrop.

Sorry about that man's face, it was a little hard to get pictures off the balcony without a face, speaker or patio umbrella in it.

Sunday we visited the crazy, super packed Grapevine Mall and crossed quite a few things off our list including Tyler's wedding band! He wanted something inexpensive since he's so hard on his TTU ring and goes out on the jobsite often enough that it could get scratched/damaged frequently.

My folks are headed out this weekend to attend the wedding shower that Tyler's family and friends are throwing for us. I already asked (told) ;) my mom that I need her to iron the groomsmen's shirts while she's here. She's a pro ironer and honestly, I would just really rather not do it, therefore it's Momma to the rescue! (There's only 6 shirts, don't feel too sorry for her.)

This week both Tyler's and my sisters are being put to work following up on missing RSVPs, I picked up my wedding band (it's gorgeous, just you wait and see), we plan on finishing the gifts and getting them load-ready for whatever car they're going in, we ALMOST have all of our songs picked out, and just a few other details that need adjusting.

It's been a crazy 6 months - some crazier than others - but it's been fun and we can't wait for the big day...and even more so, an amazing vacation to follow!!
